Balram, a villager, is burdened with many struggles as his father's last rituals commence. His father's death has left him along with his elderly mother, whose health and eyesight is failing. His banker's offer for a fixed deposit, persuading Balram to become the sole nominee, seems the most suitable option. He is also in search for a suitable groom for daughter Rashmi, and setting begins to set up his dairy business again as he attempts to get his life back on track - but drama soon unfolds.
