Laxman Das Baul exemplifies the Baul tradition with a voice that is deeply spiritual, singing and accompanying himself with Baul instruments, the Anandalahari and Dotara. He is a disciple and the adopted son of renowned Baul Master and composer Shri Shudhir Goshai. Guitar virtuoso Eric Triton with his universal blues flavoured with Mauritian Creole spice, alongside Shakti Shane Ramchuran, brilliant and soulful master of tabla, delivering an irresistible musical genre: Afroriental Blues. The Eric Triton + Lakshman Das Baul project is a collaboration of musical styles, contexts and cultures, and is supported by EarthSync India and Jorez Box, Mauritius.
