Musa Mashiane is an exceptionally unique artist who blends elements of African music with jazz, funk, pop and neo-soul. His inspirations include artists like Victor Ntoni, Lokua Kanza, Gerald Toto, Frank Mcomb, Stevie Wonder and Bobby McFerrin. His powerfully soulful voice seamlessly blends the heart of Afro-soul with traditional African melodies. He is currently working on a new album that dives deep into African melodies and harmonies - a sound he calls 'abstract gospel'.
